Sarah Hyland to host Lip Sync Battle spin-off

Actress Sarah Hyland is expanding her TV resume by hosting a spin-off of reality competition series Lip Sync Battle.

Lip Sync Battle Shorties, which will feature kids lip-syncing hit songs, will air on Nickelodeon network next month (Dec16).

"After having such an awesome experience competing on Lip Sync Battle, I jumped at the chance to host Shorties," the Modern Family star tells People.com. "What could be more fun and exciting to see than the next generation of Lip Sync superstars showing off their sensational skills?"

The 25-year-old will also appear on the new season of Lip Sync Battle, which is hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen.
