Sam Smith cancels more tour dates due to vocal cord haemorrhage

British singer Sam Smith has cancelled three more tour dates so he can jet to the States for treatment on his vocal cords.

The Stay With Me hitmaker postponed several dates on his Australian tour in April (15) after doctors discovered his throat problems, and Smith has been resting his voice in a bid to be back on form for his shows in Japan and the Philippines this week (beg04May15).

However, those dates have now been called off so he can visit a specialist in America.

In a post Instagram.com, he writes, "Very upset about Japan and Manilla dates. I've just left Australia and I'm on my way to the States to see a specialist to see what to do from there... This is f**king horrid."
