Russell Crowe's biblical epic Noah scored a big Easter boost at the global box office, taking the film's sales past the $300 million mark.

Director Darren Aronofsky's retelling of the Great Flood saga opened last month (Mar14) and has already become the fourth top-grossing film of the year.

It trails Captain America: The Winter Soldier ($585.6 million), The Lego Movie ($441.7 million) and 300: Rise of an Empire ($329.1 million).
