Russell Brand joined Million Mask March in London
Russell Brand joined anti-capitalism protesters at the Million Mask March in London on Tuesday (05Nov13).
The demonstration was held in cities around the world and in Britain, it coincided with the country's annual Guy Fawkes Night, which commemorates the foiled Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605.
Many attendees at the London event wore iconic Guy Fawkes masks,
which have been adopted by online activist group Anonymous, and it
has now emerged Brand was among them.
The funnyman, who has been an outspoken critic of the U.K.
government in recent months, was photographed wearing one of the
masks at the demonstration in London.
Eleven people were reportedly arrested at the protest, during which
fireworks were allegedly hurled at royal residence Buckingham
Palace.
