Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's selfie secret: 'I take 100!'

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley takes 100 selfies before she finds the right shot.

The British model may be a pro on a photoshoot, but when she's taking solo snaps, the 30-year-old struggles to nail her perfect pose.

"Well, you need half an hour, you need great lighting, and you need to be prepared to take about 100 pictures of yourself, edit through 100 pictures of yourself and then filter them three times," she smiled to Britain's Glamour magazine. "You know, come on! Be real! That's the way it is."

The model's 7.3 million Instagram followers will be used to her constant selfies, and she's also a fan of posting photos from her various fashion shoots.

However, she admits she questions what the effect of posting such flawless images has on her fan base, and the younger generation in general.

"(I worry about) young girls out there who are really feeling insecure about their image and they scroll through and see this image of a supermodel looking amazing, reclining on a beach in a completely unrealistic pose or environment," she sighed. "And I can see how that would make people not feel good about themselves.

"I can't say that I'm immune to that. Sometimes I'm like, 'F**k!' You know? That doesn't make me feel great."

And the Paige denim model, who's expecting her first child with fiance Jason Statham, also doesn't want her posts to come across as annoying.

"I try to be mindful of that when I'm posting pictures, but again, it's part of what I do and I hope that people don't feel... that my social media is too obnoxious," she said.
