Rose MGowan witnesses attack on pensioner

Rose Mcgowan had a violent start to 2014 when she witnessed the attack of a pensioner on Thursday (02Jan14).

The former Charmed star took to Twitter.com to recount the incident, which happened right in front of her as she shopped in Venice, California.

She writes, "I just witnessed a 65 year old man get punched by an evil guy playing that goddamn knockout game."

The actress claims she gave chase and attempted to apprehend the attacker, who was wearing a mask and riding a skateboard - but he got away.

She then called an ambulance for the bloodied victim.
