Rooney Mara's physical transformation for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has affected her real-life style - she's completely overhauled her wardrobe because she "stopped feeling comfortable" in her everyday clothes.
The 26-year-old beauty plays tattooed computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in the upcoming Hollywood adaptation of Stieg Larsson's best-selling novel, and even chopped her long-flowing hair into a severe black crop to channel the character.
Mara admits the style affected the way she dresses, and she's since invested in new clothes to go with her altered look.
She tells Britain's Style magazine, "My wardrobe has completely changed. It had to, partly because of my hair and partly because I stopped feeling comfortable in what I used to wear.
"I don't feel comfy in those clothes anymore because I have been living as Lisbeth for 14 months."
