Rooney Mara: 'People like my sister Kate more than me'

Rooney Mara insists people like her newly-married actress sister Kate more than her because she's more fun to be around.

The Lion star claims Kate Mara was born with a "better personality" and is an instant hit at parties and social gatherings, while she is more reserved and would like to spend all her spare time in bed.

"People like her more," Rooney tells the new issue of Vogue magazine. "She has a better personality than I do."

But the actress insists she is coming out of her shell.

"I have more trust now in the universe and things happening when they're supposed to," she explains. "What I try to live by now is that it doesn't matter what other people think. I try to live for myself. I have to get good at myself, which is a challenge. I'm the meanest critic there is."

And Rooney would still like to spend her life between the covers, adding, "I like to spend a lot of time in bed. If I could take all my meetings and calls there, I would love that."

Meanwhile Mara is refusing to confirm or deny she's dating her Mary Magdalene co-star Joaquin Phoenix, but she tells the publication, "My love life is great."
