Ronda Rousey's engagement to Travis Browne was almost ruined after they discovered their house had been robbed.

The UFC fighter's romantic plan to ask Ronda's mother for her daughter's hand in marriage was wrecked when they learned their home had been ransacked just before a trip to New Zealand in April (17), when he was hoping to propose.

"Someone had been squatting in my house for three days, sleeping in bed, stole my Olympic rings, stole my guns, stole all my precious jewelry, every headphone in the house, credit cards..." she told Live! with Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday (05Jul17).

Ronda and Travis learned a group of skateboarders from the park near their house were responsible for the robbery after after watching footage on their security cameras, and Travis decided to track the guys down.

"So my man's 6'7, like 260 (pounds). He beelines it straight to the skateboard park, finds the guys right away," she added. "He's smart enough not to (hit them). We'll get sued pretty hard, but he found the police right then and they caught them."

"They knew it was my house, what little punks," she continued. "I wish five minutes with me was a punishment, but I think that would go under cruel and unusual treatment."

It is unclear if Ronda's items have been returned, but Travis' proposal ended up going off without a hitch.

"We were in New Zealand and it was actually after heavy rain and we were under this waterfall and apparently he had this whole speech prepared, but it (water) just went down into bullet points in the moment," she said. "So he pulls out the ring... So he's like, 'OK, we're in New Zealand. We're under a waterfall. Will you marry me?' That was it, but he was crying, I'm crying."

And now the couple is planning to marry in his home state of Hawaii.

"We're going to do, like, a backyard Mexican, Corona (beer) party, but in Hawaii," she added.
