Robin Thicke to direct short film screenplay

Robin Thicke has added director, screenwriter and actor to his list of accomplishments after taking charge of a new short film featuring his wife Paula Patton and Robert Patrick.

The Blurred Lines singer wrote, directed and stars in Mercy, in which he plays a limousine driver attempting to deal with his wife's addiction issues. Patton portrays his partner, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg plays the couple's daughter.
