Robin Thicke thanks fans for support after tour and marriage problems

Soul star Robin Thicke has thanked fans for their support in light of his tour troubles and his marriage split from actress Paula Patton.

The Blurred Lines hitmaker lost his voice last week (21Feb14), prompting him to pull out of weekend (21-23Feb14) shows in Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida, as well as a third gig in North Carolina on Tuesday (25Feb14).

His personal life also took a hit after announcing on Monday (24Feb14) that he and Patton had separated after nearly nine years as husband and wife, and the singer has now reached out to his devotees to express his gratitude for their kind messages.

He also reveals he is feeling better and is preparing to pick up his tour on Thursday (27Feb14).

Taking to his website on Wednesday (26Feb14), he writes, "I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days.

"My fans mean everything to me. I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
