Robin Thicke loses lawyer in Paula Patton custody case

Written by . Published: February 21 2017

Robin Thicke's lead lawyer in his custody battle against ex-wife Paula Patton has reportedly been removed from the case over a conflict of interest.

The Blurred Lines hitmaker has been at war with his ex-wife since the start of the year (17), when the actress took issue with Robin's discipline methods while taking care of their six-year-old son Julian.

Thicke hired attorney Larry Ginsberg, a partner at Harris, Ginsberg, to represent him, but it has since emerged that a lawyer who worked at a law firm representing Patton is now employed at Ginsberg's firm.

On Tuesday (21Feb17), Ginsberg insisted the attorney in question was not involved with the custody fight, but he was still removed from the case, according to TMZ.

Thicke and Patton are due back in court later this week (begs20Feb17) for a custody hearing.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol actress Paula separated from Robin in 2014 after more than 20 years together. The high school sweethearts wed in 2005 and finalized their divorce in 2015.
