Ritchie was told the pole would have to be taken down unless he received retrospective planning permission, according to Britain's Mail on Sunday.
A council spokesperson tells the publication, "We have looked into it and found there is no planning consent for the pole.
"A retrospective planning application has now been made. If that is not agreed, the pole may have to be taken down."
This is the second property problem for Ritchie in as many months - in February (11) his $9 million London house was taken over by squatters. He was forced to take legal action and a judge then ruled the director could have his property back.
