Rita Ora thrills fashion students with surprise performance at prizegiving

Rita Ora thrilled students at a London fashion academy by making a surprise appearance at the institution's annual prizegiving ceremony.

The R.I.P. hitmaker took to the stage for the Fashion Retail Academy's (FRA) award ceremony on Tuesday (02Jul13) to perform an a cappella version of her song Shine Ya Light before presenting the final trophy of the evening, the FRA Commitment Award, to student Naj Chowdhury.

FRA founder and Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green also attended the prizegiving and Ora later took to her Twitter.com account to post a snap of the pair alongside the caption, "Had so much fun with the Man Uncle (sic) Sir Philip Green today celebrating the Fashion Retail Academy and all the students that won an award today. It was an honour being your surprise guest! You inspire me! Thank u (sic)."
