Ray J ordered to pay up in radio dispute

R&B star Ray J has been ordered to hand over more than $26,000 to a radio station in South Carolina after allegedly failing to turn up for a paid appearance.

Bosses at Cox Radio sued the singer over claims they gave him $20,000 to host a local event and stage a meet and greet with fans back in 2010, but he never turned up.

They won a default judgement after he reportedly failed to answer the lawsuit and the case was subsequently moved to his primary state of residence, California, where the settlement has now been increased to more than $26,000, according to TMZ.com.
