Actress Rashida Jones was treated to a surprise birthday serenade from the members of New Edition when she turned 38 in February (14).
The former Parks and Recreation actress, who is music mogul Quincy Jones' daughter, was left speechless at her birthday bash when one of her favorite groups came to surprise her.
During an interview on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday (06Apr14), she revealed, "My sister surprised me for my birthday this year and three fifths of New Edition serenaded me live and I felt like I was gonna die."
Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant and Ricky Bell teamed up for the special gig, and Jones is still gushing about her teen idols' concert just for her.
She said, "I got a full blown (song) Tenderoni serenade. It was the best thing that ever happened to me."
