Rachel Bilson puts baby plans on hold
Actress Rachel Bilson is torn on her motherhood dreams because part of her wants to quit acting altogether once she becomes a mum - but she insists she couldn't walk away from a hit TV show.
The former The O.C. star, who has reconciled with former fiance Hayden Christensen, admits she has always dreamed of starting a family - but she doesn't want to be a career mum.
However, just as she started getting broody her TV career took off
again with hit new show Hart of Dixie - and now she has a personal
dilemma.
The 30 year old tells Nylon magazine, "I've always wanted kids -
it's sort of like an obsession, but I want to do it right, where I
don't have to work.
"I've heard the stories, and I know it's possible. I don't know if
I want that, though. I'm not sure if I want to continue to work
when I have kids. But if the show really takes off, I don't think I
want to wait too long to have children, either. You have to weigh
up your options. I'll figure it out when I get there. I'm a firm
believer that everything will fall into place and it will all work
out."
