Pregnant Duchess pulls out of pal's weekend wedding - report

Pregnant royal the Duchess Of Cambridge has reportedly pulled out of plans to attend a weekend wedding as she awaits her due date.

The mother-to-be is not due to go into labour until the middle of next month (Jul13), but reports suggest she is not taking any chances - and chose to skip a friend's wedding on Saturday (22Jun13).

Her husband, Prince William, who turned 31 on Friday (21Jun13), will attend the nuptials and serve as best man to the groom, longtime pal Thomas Van Straubenzee, as he weds Lady Melissa Percy, the daughter of the Duke of Northumberland.

The wedding is said to be taking place at Percy's family residence, the Alnwick Castle estate, which doubled up as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter movies.

Prince Harry will also attend the ceremony, as will his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who is a bridesmaid.
