Police remove loitering Taylor Swift fan from Beverly Hills home

Police were called to Taylor Swift's Beverly Hills home over the weekend (13-14Feb16) after another overzealous fan showed up at the property and refused to leave.

The unidentified male, who had brought his guitar, was spotted loitering at the pad's front gates on Saturday afternoon (13Feb16) and when the singer's security guards asked the fan to move on, he claimed he was waiting for Taylor as they had worked together in the past.

Police officials were called to deal with the matter and after a stern 'stay away' warning, the man made a quick exit, reports TMZ.com.

Representatives for Taylor have yet to comment on the latest security issue, which occurred 10 days after cops responded to a call regarding an unwanted visitor at another of her homes in Los Angeles.

Security officials noticed the man, who was also unnamed, hanging around at the bottom of Taylor's driveway on 3 February (16) and he was later handcuffed by cops and taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation, although no charges have been filed to date.

Her spokesperson subsequently blamed the media for the invasion of privacy, suggesting the publication of the pop star's residences encourages fans to pester her.

"‎This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities," her publicist told WENN. "This, or potentially worse, is the end result."

Taylor is no stranger to scary fan encounters. In March 2014, she obtained a permanent restraining order against Timothy Sweet, after he reportedly bombarded her with emails, letters and social media posts professing his love for her and claiming they were married.

Another man, named Daniel Cole, was also issued a no-contact order by a judge in 2014 for repeatedly trespassing at Taylor’s Rhode Island vacation home, where he ignored posted warnings not to invade Taylor's privacy.
