Pop star Pink's four-year-old daughter is following in her motocross star father's footsteps by becoming a natural on the BMX track.

The singer's husband, Carey Hart, took Willow out on her bike on Wednesday (25May16) to put her cycling skills to the test, and his little girl really impressed.

The professional sportsman took to Instagram.com on Thursday (26May16) to share video footage of Willow, decked out in a black and pink racing outfit, riding her pink and white bicycle in the dirt.

In the brief clip, Carey can be heard coaching his daughter, saying, "Pedal, pedal, pedal" as she tackled a number of mini ramps.

"Had a Proud Papa moment last night," he wrote beside the video. "Took Willz (sic) to the bmx track for the first time. She had so much fun, and just kept doing lap after lap.

"I grew up at the track and some of my best memories are from the Mx track."

Carey also revealed Willow is already eager to compete in official BMX races, adding, "Willow asked if we can go back next week and maybe race when she gets 'good'. I hit the lottery with this lil (sic) one."

The excited father also shared a photo of daddy and daughter racing one another, with Willow taking the lead.

"She got the drop on me," he quipped beside the picture.

The BMX outing took place hours after Pink appeared in a pre-taped interview on breakfast show Good Morning America and heaped praise on 40-year-old Carey as a doting dad.

The singer admitted she would love to add to her family, but her all-action husband and her daughter keep her busy for now.

"I feel like I have two kids," she joked. "I would like a third. I wanna say that Carey Hart's an awesome husband and a really good dad, but he's also like a second child!"

The couple wed in 2006 and despite a brief separation in 2008, Pink and Carey's relationship has become stronger than ever, and the 36-year-old, the product of a broken home, is determined to keep it that way, so their daughter can enjoy a happy upbringing.

"I love being a mama," the So What hitmaker smiled. "I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family, and that is my absolute number one goal in life."
