PETA POUNCES ON KIM KARDASHIAN

Fashion-conscious reality TV star Kim Kardashian has infuriated animal rights activists by allegedly wearing two fur coats in one day.

Executives at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have taken aim at the brunette beauty for stepping out in New York City on Monday (15Nov10) wearing a knee-length brown jacket which appeared to be made of real animal pelts.

She provoked further fury by changing her outfit later in the day and donning what appeared to be a short black fur coat.

And PETA bosses are fuming with the star, especially as her sister Khloe stripped off to pose for the organisation's anti-fur campaign in 2008.

A statement from PETA reads, "Kim Kardashian is a woman who has everything - except, it seems, an ounce of sympathy for the animals who have the fur ripped off their backs so that she can purchase yet another gaudy jacket. We wish she would take a cue from her fur-free sister, Khloe Kardashian - but evidently, kindness and generosity don't run in the family."
