Perrie Edwards' representative denies Zayn Malik marriage

A representative for Perrie Edwards has denied fan speculation that the British pop star wed Zayn Malik in secret after she referred to herself as "Perrie Malik" in a video.

Footage emerged on social media of Edwards and her Little Mix bandmates Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock saying their first name with their partners' surnames, while Jade Thirlwall is left saying only "Jade" because she is single.

The clip whipped One Direction fans into a frenzy of speculation that Edwards and Malik, who have been engaged since 2013, had finally tied the knot in secret despite previously insisting they are too busy to organise a wedding.

Little Mix's rep has now quashed the rumour, telling E! News, "The three girls in the group with boyfriends say their first name and their boyfriend's last name and Jade says 'I'm Jade' with no last name because she doesn't have a boyfriend... They were teasing her. Nothing more."

Pinnock is dating soccer player Jordan Kiffin, while Nelson is with British singer Jake Roche from boyband Rixton.
