Paul Walker's daughter has paid tribute to her father on what would have been his 42nd birthday, and announced she is launching a foundation for students in his honor.
Meadow Walker posted a photograph of the pair on Instagram.com on Saturday (12Sep15), and revealed in the caption that she would be launching the Paul Walker Foundation to provide scholarships and grants for researchers studying marine biology.
She wrote, "Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill.
"I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood (sic)"
Walker, best known for his role in the Fast and Furious movie franchise, died in a car crash in November, 2013.
