Owen Wilson struggled with tech jargon in The Internship

Actor Owen Wilson needed a little extra help with his lines while shooting The Internship because he struggled to get to grips with all the technology talk.

The funnyman co-stars with his pal Vince Vaughn in the new comedy, about two middle-aged salesmen who talk their way into an internship at the Google headquarters in California.

However, Wilson admits he had some difficulty remembering all the hi-tech information when camera's started rolling, so he enlisted a few tricks he picked up on the set of 2001's Zoolander to prompt him throughout the troublesome scenes.

He says, "My character is a little bit more tech savvy (than Vaughn's) in the movie - probably a little bit in real life also - and I was saddled with a lot of the dialogue that was like talking with the Google engineers, and having to talk program... It's literally like another language so I was having a hard time learning my dialogue...

"(I) would have cue cards, and you know, little cheat sheets and they would put a little ear wig in and have somebody stand off camera and give you your lines and stuff, so I was able to get through it in a credible way.

"I knew that it would work because I'd actually used it in... Zoolander... where I was supposed to speak some French and Chinese in a scene..."
