One Direction face junk food ban on tour

One Direction have been banned from eating junk food during their tour.

The boyband is currently performing on the U.K. leg of its Take Me Home World Tour, which kicked off in London last month (Feb13), and documentary maker Morgan Spurlock is filming the singers for a new 3D movie.

Spurlock, who famously gorged on McDonald's meals for his 2004 film Super Size Me, has revealed the young stars enjoy teasing him by eating burgers from the fast food chain in front of him, but their antics have been banned during their time on the road.

One Direction now have a personal trainer who is steering them away from fatty foods in a bid to keep them fit for their shows.

During a question and answer session with fans on Twitter.com, Spurlock revealed, "They love eating McD (sic) in front of me, but on the new tour they have a trainer who's keeping them off the Big Macs!"
