Olivia Munn wants to reprise her X-Men character in a new Deadpool film.
The actress toned up and transformed herself into an all-action superwoman for the new X-Men movie Apocalypse, and she loves her new character Psylocke so much she's keen to bring her back for an X-Force film, featuring her deadly alter-ego, Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and other mutants.
"That would be a really cool thing to do," she tells USA Today. "What he (Reynolds) did with Deadpool was genius and I’m so excited for him.
"It would definitely be cool to see Deadpool and some of the other X-Men characters gather for an X-Force movie. I think that’s what the whole world is coming to - everybody unites together, right? It's never just one character anymore. We all just become one movie."
The Newsroom star joined the superhero franchise as Psylocke, a strong mutant with telepathic and telekinetic abilities, and she only signed on when the producers confirmed she would get a fight scene.
"I'm like, this is Psylocke's entry into this world, I'm not (co-star) Jennifer Lawrence, if they don't have it (a good scene), they're not gonna make sure to get it in there somehow. If there's not a fight scene being shot, if they don't have it, they're not gonna use it... If I wanted the fans to see Psylocke and get a good fight scene for her and the fans, I knew I had to go do it myself."
The actress had grown up doing Taekwondo but she trained in the martial art for hours every day for the movie, while also picking up new stunt skills with swords and wire work.
