A former aide to Erin O'connor has appeared in court over allegations she stole more than $67,500 from the supermodel.
The British beauty, who has a reported $18 million fortune, became suspicious of Michelle Knox-Brown after she allegedly racked up nearly $12,000 in taxi bills.
Knox-Brown appeared at Kingston upon Thames Crown Court in England on Friday (19Nov10) to face accusations of two counts of theft and two counts of fraud between 1 January, 2007 and 1 March, 2010.
The 45 year old "dishonestly abused her position" as an assistant after obtaining $45,300 by "stealing cash and making unauthorised purchases on a credit card belonging to Miss E. O'Connor", the court heard.
She was also accused of taking $10,650 in petty cash.
Knox-Brown was granted bail and is expected to stand trial in March (11), reports Britain's Daily Mail.
