Lindsay Lohan's representative has shot down reports the Mean Girls actress has dropped her last name.
Lindsay's mother, Dina Lohan, recently suggested her famous daughter was planning an image overhaul and wanted to simply be known by her first name.
But the troubled star's spokesperson insists there is no truth to the rumors, reports PerezHilton.com.
In a statement, the actress' rep says, "Lindsay Lohan has not changed her name. It remains Lindsay Lohan."
The news will come as no surprise to Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael - he was confident there was no truth to the reports and even accused his ex-wife of fabricating the claims.
Michael Lohan previously told the New York Daily News, "At the outset, it hurts to hear something like that, but at the end of the day, it's never going to happen. It's a real shame Dina would make up this kind of story."
The actress' parents have been engaged in a public war of words since divorcing in 2007.
