Nikki Reed files for divorce from husband

Twilight star Nikki Reed has officially filed for divorce from singer/songwriter Paul Mcdonald.
The actress fell for McDonald when he was a contestant on American Idol and the two recorded songs together when he was voted off the show.
In divorce documents, obtained by TMZ.com, Reed cites
irreconcilable differences for the split and she is asking the
court to deny McDonald spousal support.
Reed and McDonald announced plans to split in March (14) and
revealed they had been living apart for six months. The couple wed
in July, 2011.
