Nightclub owners file lawsuit against Chris Brown and Drake

The owners of a New York City nightclub have filed legal papers against Chris Brown and Drake, arguing the rappers should be responsible for covering any damages awarded to sports star Tony Parker.

The basketball player recently filed a $20 million suit against executives at Entertainment Enterprises, Ltd., who own Manhattan hotspot W.i.P., claiming he was injured during a clash between Brown and Drake's entourages last year (12).

Parker insists the venue's bosses should have been aware of the "bad blood" between Drake and Brown and not let them both into the bar at the same time, but now the club owners are fighting back.

Entertainment Enterprises, Ltd. chiefs filed new documents last week (begs11Mar13) alleging the musicians were the ones who "contributed to, instigated, participated and/or engaged" in the brawl, therefore they should be forced to pay for Parker's injuries if the sportsman wins in court, according to TMZ.com.

This is the latest lawsuit relating to the bust-up - the Kiss Kiss hitmaker and Drake recently sued each other after they were both named in a lawsuit by Romain Julien. The French model is seeking damages for injuries he allegedly sustained in the fight.
