Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi's new husband pleads guilty to DUI

U.S. reality TV star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi's new husband Jionni Lavalle was in court to plead guilty to a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) charge just two days after his big day.

The former Jersey Shore star wed longtime beau LaValle on Saturday (29Nov14), but their honeymoon was cut short because the newlywed had to appear in a New Jersey court on Monday (01Dec14).

The DUI charge stems from LaValle's arrest in Totowa on 7 August (14), when he was initially charged with driving under the influence, unsafe lane changes and careless driving.

A Totowa Municipal Court spokesperson tells Us Weekly magazine that LaValle only pleaded guilty to the DUI, and the other two charges were dismissed.

LaValle, who is father to the couple's two young kids, had his license revoked for three months, and he was ordered to attend drug and alcohol education classes.
