Nicole Richie has returned to her reality show roots by debuting the first episode of her new online series #candidlynicole.

Lionel Richie's daughter first stepped into the spotlight when she appeared on the hit TV show The Simple Life with hotel heiress Paris Hilton, and now she is starring in a digital mini-series for Internet giant AOL.

In the socialite's debut show, she visits a specialist to get the "tramp stamp" tattoo on her lower back removed, joking, "It just means a certain thing, and I don't want to be part of that group."

The star goes on to reveal she had her first inking done in a garage when she was just 14 years old, but the Chinese "love symbol" design apparently didn't mean what it was supposed to.

Richie eventually opts out of the removal process, insisting, "I'm not going back every two months. That's too much upkeep. But I'm hoping that in maybe 10 years when it's really embarrassing that they'll have new technology."

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has also signed up for a 10-episode AOL show called Second Chances, in which she and her longtime personal trainer Tracy Anderson will interview women who have overcome adversity and transformed their lives through healthy eating and fitness.
