Nicky Hilton: 'Motherhood is amazing'

Nicky Hilton is in "heaven" as a new mum to newborn daughter Lily-Grace.

The 32-year-old hotel heiress and husband James Rothschild welcomed their first child in July (16), and Nicky has been basking in motherhood since her daughter's arrival and doesn't want to miss any milestones.

"I always time everything to leave during a nap time so I'm not missing anything," she told E! News. "I love it! I love it! I have an alarm clock for the next 18 years, about 5.30am every single day. But I love it! Waking up to that face - it's heaven."

On Monday (12Sep16), Nicky attended a Carolina Herrera fashion show in New York City and showed off her svelte figure just two months after giving birth. She explained it wasn't hard for her to get her figure back because she made it a point to stay fit during the pregnancy.

"I really didn't gain too much weight during my pregnancy," she said. "I really looked after myself and had a healthy diet and (kept) working out."

Nicky documented her pregnancy on social media, and recently shared a sweet snap of herself cradling her bulging belly while sitting in her daughter's nursery, captioning the snap: "Preparing for the little one's arrival."

However, she has yet to share the first picture of her daughter with fans eagerly awaiting a sneak peek.

Hilton and Rothschild wed in a lavish ceremony at London's Kensington Palace almost a year ago and Nicky celebrated her first wedding anniversary as a mum.

"Thankful for the best anniversary gift ever... our beautiful daughter Lily-Grace," Nicky wrote alongside a snap from her wedding day.
