Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill enjoy night out amid split rumors

Hip-hop stars Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are continuing to keep fans guessing about the status of their relationship after enjoying a night out in New York hours after they were rumored to have split.

The Starships hitmaker parted ways with her longtime love Safaree Samuels in late 2014 and she was rumored to have rebounded with Mill after teaming up in the studio for a pair of collaborations.

Minaj dismissed the dating claims last month (Dec14), but has continued to fuel speculation they are more than just friends after she was pictured cosying up to Mill in a recent Instagram.com photo, posted online by his label boss Rick Ross.

Their relationship hit headlines again over the weekend (17-18Jan15) after Mill uploaded a series of jokes on Instagram, appearing to take aim at Minaj, suggesting they had fallen out with one another.

In one post, he seemingly insulted her by using the slang term "THOT", an acronym for "That H** Over There", as Minaj took to her social networking blog and shared philosophical quotes, including one which reads: "Give the gift of your absence to those who do not appreciate your presence".

However, it appears the stars were not referring to one another on their blogs, as Minaj and Mill were spotted in New York together hours after their telling posts.

The rappers were joined by a group of pals on Sunday night (18Jan15) as they dined at Chinese restaurant Red Stixs, before heading to Mediterranean hotspot Pergola, where they smoked hookah pipes and enjoyed cocktails to celebrate the release of Minaj's new MTV documentary, My Time Again, which aired on Sunday.
