Nick Cannon returning to TV acting on Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Mariah Carey's estranged husband Nick Cannon is returning to TV acting after landing a recurring role on Andy Samberg's police comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The America's Got Talent host will portray Marcus, the charming onscreen nephew of Andre Braugher's character Captain Holt in a multi-episode arc.
Cannon will make his debut in the forthcoming second season of the
show in December (14).
The entertainer previously appeared in an episode of hit sitcom 30
Rock in 2012 and axed Christina Applegate comedy Up All Night in
2011.
