Niall Horan slams fan for snapping sleeping photo

Niall Horan took aim at a fan after they secretly took a photo of the pop star sleeping on a plane and posted it online.

The One Direction star took to Twitter on Monday (01Aug16) to repost a photo someone took of him curled up in his seat on a flight from London.

Along with the blurry picture, the unnamed user wrote, "And to sum up the perfect European adventure, I sat directly next to Niall from One Direction for 9 hours on my flight home from London last night. He was sick and asked for no selfies, but here is a pic I snapped when he was sleeping lol he was so friendly... Not a British Duke... But an Irish popstar will do. Thanks for treating me so well Europe!"

Niall shared his frustration over the invasion of privacy and added the caption, "I think this s**t is unreal. I mean if you can't sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can u do."

This isn't the first time the 22 year old has taken to social media to admit concern for his safety - last summer (15), he urged fans and photographers to stop chasing One Direction's cars as they speed along motorways, autobahns and freeways because it terrifies him and his bandmates.

At the time, he told the BBC, "We've been chased down the street and on the motorways at 70 miles an hour, and surely that's not safe... They're hanging out of windows... (and) switching lanes. They're going fast and it's quite scary."

Responsible Niall also launched his campaign for more safety on Twitter, writing, "Cmon guys, just lay off on the chases today please, been a long day so far, just wanna relax and enjoy the city with my friends, thank you."
