Niall Horan opens up about bandmate's baby news

Niall Horan has scored another One Direction first by becoming the first band member to talk about Liam Payne's baby.

The singer was the first existing member of the group to release a solo single last year (16), and now the Irishman has gone on record to chat about the baby Liam is expecting with girlfriend Cheryl.

Even his bandmate and his girl haven't talked about the news, but Horan tells the Daily Star, "I'm looking forward to it," adding, "Liam hasn't said he's nervous but I'm sure he is. I bet he can't wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life."

Niall is thrilled for the couple, insisting they are very much in love: "He's great and she's lovely, it will be a lovely child," he says.
