Kings Of Leon rocker Nathan Followill showed off his sporting knowledge early on Saturday (27Oct12) when he joined the hosts of Espn show College GameDay to pick the day's biggest football games.

The Use Somebody drummer, who often tweets about his love for the University of Oklahoma's college football team, the Sooners, was in Norman for their big match up with Notre Dame and he joined sports anchorman Chris Fowler and the show's experts.

He kicked off his picks by choosing Texas Christian University (TCU) to beat his team's rivals Oklahoma State, saying, "I would never pick Oklahoma State no matter what."

Followill also picked the upset between the 10th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs and second-ranked Florida Gators, and there was no surprise when he picked his beloved Sooners over Notre Dame Irish "by 17 points".

The rocker's picks failed to come in - Oklahoma State beat TCU 36-14 and Notre Dame overcame the Sooners 30-13, but the Bulldogs turned in an impressive victory over the Gators, winning 17-9.
