Mumford & Sons still on top in the U.S. as Streisand extends her top 10 run

Folk rockers Mumford & Sons have scored a third week at the top of the U.S. albums chart.

The British group's Babel rocketed to the top of the Billboard 200 last month (Sep12) with the year's biggest sales week for a debut and 96,000 sales last week (ends14Oct12) have given the band the edge over second placed Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist.

Also new to the top five: Kiss' Monster, which debuts at three, Machine Gun Kelly's Lace Up at four and Coheed & Cambria's Afterman: Ascension at five, while Barbra Streisand lands her 32nd top 10 album with Release Me at seven.

The feat extends her lead as the woman with the most top 10 albums in history and puts her one behind Frank Sinatra and four behind the Rolling Stones, who have more U.S. top 10s than any other act in history.
