Lara Bingle has confirmed she and actor Sam Worthington are preparing for their second child.
Reports of the Australian model's possible pregnancy surfaced last month (May16), but the notoriously private couple, which didn't announce its first pregnancy or marriage, has remained tight-lipped about the rumors.
But, in a new interview with InStyle magazine, Lara, 28, confirmed gossip their 14-month-old son Rocket Zot will become a big brother later this year (16).
Lara tells the publication she's hoping her experience will be smooth sailing, just as it was the first time around.
"I had a great pregnancy with Rocket and touch wood it will be the same this time," she says. "I don't really get morning sickness but I do have to eat consistently to keep my energy up."
As for how she's going to handle two kids under two when their little bundle of joy arrives, Lara admits, "I'm sure it might seem full-on at the beginning... It's probably a lot harder than it is now, but when they get older they can share a life together."
Lara's pregnancy confirmation comes a mother after she appeared on the Kyle & Jackie O show on Australia's Kiis FM in May (16) and refused to discuss speculation she was with child.
When the radio duo asked if she had some big news to announce, Lara replied, "No, I just wanted to say hi... I always want to come in and say hi."
Jackie O then asked how she feels about being asked if she's pregnant, prompting her to respond, "I think being pregnant is a personal thing for a woman and I find it weird talking to you about it... It's something for Sam and I and it should be between us and our close family. I do find it weird people asking me."
She also praised her husband for being a wonderful father to their baby boy: "It's just life-changing but the most rewarding thing... (Sam) would have many, he loves children. He's the best. The best husband, the best father, he's just the best, he's my best friend. Having a child has enhanced our relationship."
Lara only confirmed she was married to Sam, 39, last year (15). She admitted they tied the knot in Melbourne, Australia in December, 2014, when she was six months pregnant with Rocket.
