Model Hilary Rhoda weds sportsman Sean Avery

Model Hilary Rhoda is a married woman after tying the knot with retired sportsman Sean Avery.

The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony at the Parrish Art Museum in the Hamptons, New York on Saturday (10Oct15), when the bride walked down the aisle in a Carolina Herrera dress.

Former ice hockey star Avery proposed to Rhoda in 2013 after three years together. The 35-year-old athlete previously dated 24 star Cuthbert from 2005 to 2007.

The nuptials took place days after Avery hit headlines for all the wrong reasons - he was arrested in the Big Apple on 30 September (15) and booked for criminal mischief relating to an incident on 29 September (15), when he reportedly contacted local authorities to complain about cars speeding in the area. He stands accused of hurling objects at the passing vehicles. The retired New York Rangers player was also slapped with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance for medications oxycodone and roxicodone, and released on $500 bail.
