Miranda Lambert not a big fan of social media
Country star Miranda Lambert has every one of her social media posts scrutinised before sending to avoid embarrassing mistakes.
The Somethin' Bad singer uses Twitter and Instagram to keep fans updated about her life on and off the stage, but Miranda admits she is not a big fan of the micro-blogging craze.
Confessing she is "horrible at all of it", she tells Entertainment
Weekly, "To think of something clever or make sure you spell
something right... I always have 14 people read it because I'm
worried about all of it."
The 32-year-old has also occasionally shared photos of her new
boyfriend, fellow singer Anderson East, online, but she prefers to
keep some aspects of her life away from the public eye.
"I really believe in leaving some mystery," she continued. "I don't
need to know what everybody's doing all the time - especially with
heroes of mine. I want to keep admiring them from afar."
In contrast, Miranda's ex-husband, Blake Shelton, has been
flaunting his new relationship with girlfriend Gwen Stefani all
over social media.
The couple, which met after both serving as mentors on The Voice
last year (15), went public with its romance in November (15), four
months after Blake and Miranda stunned fans with news of their
divorce in July (15), and just weeks after No Doubt frontwoman Gwen
split from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, in August
(15).
