Miranda Lambert keeping maiden name for career

Miranda Lambert will continue recording music under her maiden name after marrying fellow country star Blake Shelton at the weekend (14May11).

The happy couple became man and wife on Saturday (14May11) and Miranda Lambert subsequently took to her Twitter.com blog to test out her new name.

She wrote, "Mrs Shelton here! Winning!!!!!"

But she will only be known as Miranda Shelton in her personal life - onstage, the Grammy winner will still be known as Miranda Lambert, her representative confirms to UsMagazine.com.
