Miranda Cosgrove wins order of protection against obsessed fan

Singer/actress Miranda Cosgrove has won an order of protection against a fan who allegedly bombarded her with disturbing online messages, sent her packages and tracked her movements.

The former child star applied for a restraining order against Joshua Stockton over allegations he sent her messages via Twitter.com threatening to kill himself.

Editors at TMZ.com report she also accused Stockton of sending her unwanted gifts and trawling social media to track her down and turn up at her location.

The website reports a judge granted the order and Stockton has been instructed to stay away from the 21-year-old star.
