Miley Cyrus marks anniversary of dog's death

Miley Cyrus has paid tribute to her late dog on the eve of the first anniversary of his death.

The Wrecking Ball singer threw a party to commemorate the sad anniversary on Tuesday night (31Mar15) and posted a photo of the gifts her friends arrived with on Instagram.com.

She added the caption: "Tomorrow it will have been 1 year since Floyd passed away..... It has been a year wayyyy to long since I have got to hold him.... my baby got taken wayyyy to soon (sic)."

And she thanked fans and friends for helping through the pain on tour, adding, "At times I didn't know how I was going to go out there and perform and smile and pretend I wasn't hurting... But with you I didn't have to.... I could show my pain and you all would console me... I love you."
