Jimmy Iovine asked Miley Cyrus to be a part of the show after regretting comments he made on the program, suggesting the 16 year old was "a much stronger singer than Miley Cyrus".

An Idol source tells Eonline.com, "Jimmy apologized and personally asked Miley to come on."

It's one of the last appearances Miley Cyrus will make before taking the stage for the beginning of her Gypsy Heart world tour in Ecuador on Friday (29Apr11).
