MIKA TURNS TO MCKELLEN FOR ADVICE

Pop star Mika shares an unlikely bond with Sir Ian Mckellen - he often turns to the veteran actor if he ever needs advice.

The pair established a firm friendship after meeting in 2008 - and the Grace Kelly singer knows McKellen will always be around to dish out life tips.

He tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine, "We met backstage at the 2008 Brit Awards and became friends. He's my agony uncle - or aunt - and gives fantastic advice on anything and everything.

"I think he enjoys giving people advice, whether it's to do with work of life in general. Does he call me for advice? No!"
