R&B star Miguel has been fined $360 after pleading no contest to a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).
The Adorn hitmaker was arrested by police in Los Angeles last August (13) after cops pulled over his BMW for having tinted windows.
He reportedly failed a Breathalyzer test and was booked for DUI
before being released on bail.
The singer appeared in court on Friday (21Feb14) to face the count
and was fined and ordered to attend an alcohol education course. He
was also placed on three years of informal probation.
Speaking after the hearing, Miguel told TMZ.com, "Driving with
alcohol in my system was reckless. I'm really sorry and I'm taking
responsibility for this mistake."
