Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrate New Year together

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones put on a united front for 2014 by ringing in the New Year together during a family skiing holiday.

The Hollywood couple announced their separation over the summer (13), but have sparked rumors of a reconciliation over the last few months as they have been seen spending time together with their children.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones appeared to be reunited after they jetted off together for a post-Christmas ski break with their children, Dylan and Carys, in Quebec, Canada.

They celebrated the holiday together and Douglas marked the occasion by posting a number of family photographs online.

The snaps, which were published on his Facebook.com page, show the family posing in skiing kit, waving their ski poles in the air on top of a snow-covered mountain.

Douglas captioned the snaps, "Happy New Year from Quebec, Canada... where it is minus 10F."
