Crooner Michael Buble underwent emergency dental work after knocking a tooth out during a concert in Australia on Friday (16May14).

The Cry Me A River hitmaker took to the stage at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, but during his second song on the night he accidentally struck his face with his microphone, dislodging a tooth.

He battled through his set without the audience knowing of his accident, until he posted a snap of himself on Instagram.com the following day (17May13) showing him at a dentist's surgery wearing a nitrous oxide mask.

Buble wrote, "Thankfully no one knew, but I knocked my tooth out with my microphone last night during the second song!! Don't worry, I'm at the dentist getting fixed up for my final show tonight."

Buble returned to play at the same venue on Saturday night (17May14).
